I know we're already at the end of June but today I wanted to quickly review the Degustabox we received in May as our June box has just arrived. Degustabox is a subscription box which delivers 9 to 14 surprise products to your doorstep for only £12.99 a month (including delivery). This box contained 10 goodies from a variety of companies. Most of the products were new to us, so it was fun to try out different things and discover new flavours. Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbecue Sauce is the number one BBQ sauce in the US. Tristan and I like it a lot. The taste is sweet and smokey and it can be eaten with anything really. So far it has been really good with pasta, burgers and on sandwiches. A sample packet of BBQ sauce was also included but we've not yet tried it, I guess it will taste similar though. Schwartz Grill Mates Marinade in a Bag is ready-made, easy to use marinade. My Little Box this month takes us to the historical province of Provence  in southeastern France, which is the birthplace of L'Occitane. Olivier Baussan is the visionary behind the brand who sold his own essential oils at local markets in the 70s, now 40 years later L'Occitane is one of the world's best known brands with stores in over 90 countries. Glossybox in May prepares us for summer with 5 carefully chosen beauty products. All of the items are small, making them really easy to carry around in a handbag or take on holiday. I'm planning to travel as much as possible this summer, so hopefully some of these will be useful! Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo Foam - This is a sample size, full size £7.95 This product is described as the next generation of dry shampoo. It cleanses the hair, leaving it silky soft and fresh without need of water! The foam should be applied directly to the scalp and massaged in to lift dirt and grease, then whilst wet and soapy, removed by towel drying. I t seems like too much hassle to me. I prefer a quick shower, especially when it's warm outside and my short hair would dry in minutes. I am not overly impressed with dry shampoos. Tristan and I recently signed up with Degustabox . Degustabox is a monthly subscription service including 9 to 14 food and drink products - many of them are completely new! It costs £12.99 (+ postage) and is a great way to discover new goodies . We love surprises and food so this is a box we can both enjoy. The box was due to arrive at the end of April but we rescheduled the delivery for Saturday, which ended up being in May! This month had a theme - International. I don't think they do it every month, so it was a good time for us to have subscribed. Cirio Supercirio Double Concentrated Tomato Puree Pots (£1.20) and Tomato Fillets (£1.69) are made from Italian tomatoes. These little tomato paste pots are my kitchen cupboard essentials. This month Glossybox takes us a step back in time and worships Hollywood beauty royalty. There are four collector's edition boxes with different coloured bottoms and a Marilyn Monroe print on the cover. My box is a mint green and looking very pretty - definitely worth keeping. The Lord & Berry Lipstick Pencil and POP Beauty Kajal Eyelines Pen are both essential to achieve a time-honoured look - a red lip and feline flick.
