Fernhill Hotel // Lyme Regis, West Dorset

As I mentioned a few of posts ago, Tristan and I took a weekend trip down south for his birthday in July. We stayed in a cute little countryside hotel called Fernhill in Lyme Regis. It gets really busy during the summer and because it is a small town, almost every single hotel/guest house/cottage was fully booked before I had even made our booking. Fernhill was the closest available hotel and was about 2 miles from Lyme Regis - there was only one double room left so I booked it immediately for two nights. We arrived on Friday evening and from the outside it didn't look like a hotel at all! When we stepped inside I felt such a positive atmosphere. Fernhill is such a lovely hotel which instantly makes you feel like you're at home - quiet and welcoming. Fernhill is situated on a tiny hill and is surrounded with beautiful scenery, although sadly we didn't have a very nice view from our window. Our room was amazing and beautifully decorated though! I was happy as there

Chester // Day out

In my last post, I promised to put up some pictures from Chester while we were on our spa weekend, so here they are. On the Sunday we visited Chester Cathedral, as we found a leaflet at the spa saying there was going to be an exhibition celebrating 150 years of Alice in Wonderland. Entry was free and we spent almost an hour there. After visiting the Cathedral, we walked along the main street, visited a couple of charity shops and stopped for to see a show by a local street artist. I arrived back in Manchester around 6pm and wasn't tired at all! I'm usually quite exhausted after travelling but this time I was absolutely rested. Chester is definitely a lovely town - I recommend visiting for a short trip or weekend away.

Spa By Kasia // review

At the beginning of August, my friends and I booked a weekend away in Chester for Almu's Hens night. We arrived by train on Saturday morning decided to share a taxi - 10 minutes away was the Spa by Kasia within The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel .  We were given a short tour and were talked through the plan for the day before we were taken to the changing rooms where we received a luxurious purple fluffy gown, towels and slippers. We were so excited and couldn't wait to check out all of the spa facilities, especially the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The spa also offered full use of their gym and tennis court while we stayed but we decided that it was going to be a very quiet and relaxing day instead! The swimming pool was very nice - it was heated, clean and beautifully decorated. We spent almost 2 hours swimming, relaxing in the sauna/jacuzzi and reading magazines before heading off to our treatments. We received a complimentary smoothie before o

New job + my top 5 office oufits

It feels like it has been so much longer than a month since I last blogged. At the beginning of the year, I promised myself that I would post more frequently over summer (because you have to use all of that amazing sunlight for pictures!) and I feel like I haven't kept my word. I have been really busy for the last couple of months and the main reason behind has been because I got a new job! Yay, finally! I have been looking for a new job since February this year and after sending out so, so many CVs, I finally started a new job in August. It is an administrative job in a textile company, which is absolutely perfect as you all know by now how much I love fashion. I have been interested in fashion since I was very young but I never thought of working in that environment. Fashion has been more like a hobby to me but for the past two years I've been thinking that maybe this is what I really want to do in life. I would love to think that this job is a good way to get my foot in
