Shoe shopping and 1 year of blogging

Recently I went to Primark and got new shoes. Yes, ballerinas. I love flat footwear and I think they go nicely with every outfit. I've worn out a few Primark pairs now, so I thought I would get some more. I really like these earth colour brown flats with a lovely cut out design. I paid £8 for them, which is quite a reasonable price for Primark shoes. Under £5, shoes don't last over a month, I have had a few bad experiences. Another pair I bought - these black ballerinas with golden detailing. They were £6, I think. And here I am wearing both of them. Also bought some nice slippers. I really like Primark slippers, they are so soft and comfy. £3 A year ago in June I started my blog on Tumblr. I have been enjoying it so much and I am glad I am still blogging today. Here is the very first post I made on Tumblr: mustelalutreola

Sheinside order was a huge disappointment

Recently, I made a big summer order from Sheinside. I was really excited because most of the clothes were on sale. I like their style and prints and of course the price is just too cheap, so I got really tempted and ordered several skirts, dresses, t-shirts and shorts. When the package arrived I had high hopes. I tried all of the clothes on and took pictures to show you all why I will never, ever get anything from Sheinside again. I am starting with things I am most disappointed in. I was really looking forward to wearing this white, floral dress. At first I noticed a tiny but still very annoying stain. Second - I tried the dress on, looked quite okay. Not the best quality material, maybe a bit too light and see-through but I thought I'd give it a chance. When I took it off, it tore very easily and I do not think I would even bother repairing or washing it, as all this mess put me off. Here is a link to how it looks on the Sheinside page. I paid £9 for sale price,

Going out for dinner at Jamie's

On Friday we celebrated Tristan's birthday early at Jamie's Italian. It is Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Manchester city centre. We go there on special occasions and it is a very lovely place with amazing food and a great atmosphere. I dressed up a bit and went for a fire red colour dress. I bought this dress from Primark because Tristan really liked it. Red is not really my colour but I still got it, plus the price for this dress was ridiculously cheap - £12. I am quite happy with this purchase - it is a really sexy and eye catching dress. I love this zip detailing. The zip actually goes from top to bottom, luckily the bottom of the dress, which is pleated, hides the rest of the zip. And here are our dinner pictures.  Tristan had steak with chips. He likes steak. He always gets steak. :) I went for a bit of a healthier option and got the Fish of the Day - sea trout with vegetables.  And my Posh Chips with Parmesan

A fun day at the lake

Tristan and I finally had finally a weekend together after so many weeks of working. We decided to enjoy the English countryside and took a train to Smithy Bridge, which is about a 20 minute train journey from Manchester. It is a really nice hilly area with a beautiful lake, cute houses and little shops.  It was a nice warm and sunny day so I wanted to wear something really light. I got this dress from Sheinside . It is first time I am wearing it, even though I bought it back in February. It is such a lovely printed dress and is absolutely amazing for this kind of weather. I am wearing this dress quite loosely, as you can make it more tight or loose in the middle. I am waiting on another order from Sheinside and I will definitely make a haul post of the items I get. They are mainly for summer, so it's exciting and hopefully I have a chance to wear them as well.       And here are some of the pictures of what this place looks like! I love the boats and
