Canon EOS 100D DSLR Camera

A few days ago my new camera arrived! I've wanted to buy a new camera for a while and I did a lot of research before buying it. I wanted something small and light but at the same time functional and of a high quality. After reading and watching loads of reviews, I decided to go for the Canon EOS 100D. It really is as small as they are saying! I want to carry around my camera as much as possible so I can happily confirm that I can just easily pop it in my handbag and I don't have to worry about my bag being heavy and hurting my shoulders.  About the camera itself though: it is an 18 megapixel camera and the photos I have been taking so far have been of a really good quality. I can also record full 1080p HD videos. As I still consider myself a new photographer, I have found the explanation for each function that appears when turning the dial for mode selection really useful. There are also special scene modes for things like shooting food and sunsets. I am really exc

Love Me Beauty - Edition 3

I skipped the June edition of the Love Me Beauty box and thought twice before deciding to order for July. I already have so many cosmetic and beauty products and I don't know if I would ever end up using them all. I've mentioned it previously but what I really like about Love Me Beauty is that you can pick from 3 different menus, choosing what suits you best. When I saw this months brands and offers, I just couldn't resist! I chose Edition 3.   Inside there were 6 products, 5 of them full size.  Lashem Lash Enhancing Serum - RRP £40 (3.5ml), mine is a sample size 2ml. I have been thinking of getting a eyelash serum for a while but as they are quite expensive I didn't want to buy anything before actually trying the product out first. That is why beauty box samples are so useful! This lash enhancing serum nourishes and conditions. The result is longer looking lashes within 2 weeks. A thin line of serum applied on a clean skin to the base of your

My outfit in these pictures was inspired by the Estonian flag (blue, black and white). It made me immediately think of the beginning of July, when Estonia celebrated The 26th Estonian Song Celebration and 19th Dance Celebration ''Touched by Time. The Time to Touch''. The tradition of the song festival was born along with Estonian national awakening (the path towards independence). The first national song festival was held in Tartu in the summer of 1869. Estonians continued the tradition and The Estonian Song Festival has been held every five years in the Estonian capital of Tallinn. I really hope to go next time!  This floral skirt was ordered from Sheinside last month and it is my favourite skirt at the moment. I paired it with my blue silky shirt from H&M. I haven't worn this shirt in a long time - I think I do this with my clothes all the time. I buy something really nice, wear it a few times and then it is just sitting in my wardrobe until I find it again!

OOTD London

Today I thought I would make another post on my weekend trip in London. I wanted to wear something unique, so here I am finally wearing the pleated skirt I bought from the Manchester Vintage Kilo Sale. You can read about it here . I bought this skirt (by TanJay) back in May but as it was very wrinkled I had to take it for dry cleaning first. I really like the fabric, it is very thick and strong. I am not 100% sure about the material but it feels like linen. I think this baby blue colour is just so cute!

Weekend in London - Monty Python Live

Tristan and I spent a lovely weekend in London. We had a 3 hour train ride there - here is the first picture of our journey. My travel essentials :) We had tickets for Monty Python Live at the O2 Arena on Saturday evening and we were spending the night in London. Tristan chose a nice double room (with a bath!) at the Marriott Hotel in Canary Wharf.   We arrived in London around 1pm and after dropping our things off in the hotel room, we had the whole day to walk around Canary Wharf. Canary Wharf is a major business district located in Tower Hamlets. It is one of London's main financial centres and contains many of the UK's tallest buildings. One Canada Square is supposed to be the second tallest in the UK - it is really hard to get the whole building in a single picture, so I had to take it in two parts. Canary Wharf is located on the West India Docks on the Isle of Dogs. The Isle of Dogs is a former island in the East End of London that is bounded on
