Canon EOS 100D DSLR Camera

A few days ago my new camera arrived! I've wanted to buy a new camera for a while and I did a lot of research before buying it. I wanted something small and light but at the same time functional and of a high quality. After reading and watching loads of reviews, I decided to go for the Canon EOS 100D. It really is as small as they are saying! I want to carry around my camera as much as possible so I can happily confirm that I can just easily pop it in my handbag and I don't have to worry about my bag being heavy and hurting my shoulders.

About the camera itself though: it is an 18 megapixel camera and the photos I have been taking so far have been of a really good quality. I can also record full 1080p HD videos.

As I still consider myself a new photographer, I have found the explanation for each function that appears when turning the dial for mode selection really useful. There are also special scene modes for things like shooting food and sunsets.

I am really excited and can't wait to start snapping some more pictures and share them with you guys!

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck. My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. Lilla Rose Flexi Clips

Today I want to talk a bit about my hair and my recent purchase from a company called Lilla Rose . Lilla Rose is a unique hair and jewellery accessory company from the US. They have many different hair items but I was more interested in their beautiful and well-known Flexi Clip. I got myself two of these - Autumn's Delight in size small and Festive Leaf in extra small. Before ordering I made sure of which size would fit best for my flat and thin hair. Both of my Flexi Clips look stunning. The beaded wire is quite bendable but strong, the sliding pin is adjustable and they feel high-quality. I chose mine in a copper/rust shade but there are also silver and gold shades and so many different styles and colours available. As I recently cut my long hair short, I don't have many options with styling. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail or a half ponytail.
