Holiday outfit Vol. 4 - Botanic Gardens

I want to share another outfit I was wearing on my holiday in Australia. As my outfit is very summery, I feel like I need to post it before it starts snowing here in the UK. Pictures were taken at the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens after Tristan and I visited the zoo, which was a short walk away. It was busy day, we walked around the city a lot and visited many places in Rockhampton. I remember the day was quite hot and I think it was the only time I was complaining about the heat. I was wearing a flower print black and white dress from Primark and my nude Fisherman sandals by Blink, which gave me the maximum comfort I needed. Tristan picked this dress for me when we did a little clothes shopping in the summer. I didn't wear it in England this year - mostly because of the bad summer we had and I think I subconsciously saved it for my trip. My handcrafted necklace is from Estonia ( Disanimaja ) and was made by Jane Põvvat. Two friends of mine bought it for me as a birthday present.

The Christmas Tag

I saw this tag on Love from Be and I just had to do it myself! I am getting quite excited about Christmas so I thought I'd make this tag my first Christmas related blog post. 1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?  I think I would say Home Alone. I remember it was on TV every year during Christmas. I watched it with my family and we always laughed a lot - it is funny and sweet! My second favourite is The Holiday. I think it has everything a movie needs - romance, music, a bit of comedy and an amazing cast. Of course it is a holiday film and it all happens around Christmas! 2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? In Estonia we open presents on Christmas eve but as I have lived in England for 4 years now I think it is good to go with tradition this time and open them the next morning! 3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory? I remember when I was a kid I used to put a slipper or sock on the window ledge and leave it there from beginning

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide

Kayla Itsines is a 23 year old woman from Adelaide, Australia. In 2008, she started a personal training course at the Australian Institute of Fitness and after graduation she started a job at a 'women's only' personal training center. She soon realised that the methods she was instructed to use often fell short or did not provide the results the client was aspiring to achieve. Kayla left the training facility and started her own company aimed at helping women achieve a bikini body in the most efficient and effective way possible. Her clients saw amazing results in 12 weeks or sometimes even sooner and began to tell their friends and spread an amazing positive message.  I can't remember exactly how I found Kayla on Instagram but since that day I have been admiring her dedication to her work, life and to her followers and the inspiration she gives to her girls. To girls who want to change their life like I do! I started to follow her on Instagram when she had around 70

My Little Cosy Box UK / November

My Little Box has finally arrived at my doorstep and they are continuing to surprise me more and more each month. This is the third box I've received since My Little Box was released in the UK and I'm yet to be disappointed by its contents Now that there is just one month until Christmas, subscription boxes are starting to get more wintery and Christmasy. This months My Little Cosy Box is all about staying comfortable in the cold. When I opened the box I was happy to see another greetings card painted by Kanako . I absolutely admire Kanako as an artist. At the end of her 2nd year in France she found a dream job at online magazine 'MyLittleParis' and she is now also creating these adorable illustrations for My Little Box. The quote 'My favourite pastime is to let time go by, to have time, to take my time, to waste time, to live out of time' is by Francoise Sagan. I am definitely going to frame it and find a place for it on my table. I have read few of S

FNUG - Hip Newcomer

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a blog post about fashion nail polish brand FNUG and 4 of their shades I purchased online. I have tried out my second nail polish - Hip Newcomer and I am in love with this brand! I think this metallic, creamy and sandy white shade is a perfect neutral tone for everyday casuals, going out in the day or night.  My nail polish has to match my outfit and Hip Newcomer is certainly the easiest colour to play with. It's perfect to wear in any season. I applied two coats and also a clear top coat to make it stronger, longer-lasting and shinier.  The nail polish is chip resistant, which means that it is extremely long-lasting without the risk of breakage. It was about 3 days before I started to see any fading and 5 days before I got the first chips on the tips of my nails. My nails are healthy and strong and FNUG definitely helps to keep them that way.

Glossybox UK November

The November 2014 Glossybox has finally arrived and there is nothing more delightful than receiving a box filled with skin loving treats! This months box contains a variety of beauty products which are perfect for protecting yourself from the cold weather. I'm happy and surprised to say that a few of the brands within this box are new discoveries for me! Lollipops Make Up Eye Pencil - full size product, RRP €14 Lollipops is a Parisian accessories brand but since 2010 they have introduced a gorgeous and affordable makeup collection. I got the chance to try out one of their products, a “Close your eyes, go dancing!” pencil. It applies a deep metallic and shiny colour and has a nice long-lasting texture. Eye pencils are always handy to get from a beauty box as I am not a big shopper when it comes to eye make up (except for mascaras). This pencil has a couple of good properties - it is retractable (no need to sharpen) and it contains vitamin E with anti-aging and anti-radical a

Holiday outfits Vol. 3 - Floral skirt

I miss wearing light clothes and walking around barefoot! I am 100% a summer girl. I don't mind autumn, winter or spring, but I hate cold. So here's another holiday outfit post and a nice reminder that I have to get through this freezing season to wear my favourite shirt and skirt combo again. Or maybe it's time to take a trip somewhere warm! This outfit is my favourite! I think it is so easy to style a waist skirt, it goes with everything. I am loving this colour combination - turquoise and sky blue. I was wearing this Primark chiffon top a lot and I am surprised at its quality - it has survived the washing machine many times and it still looks like it did on the day I bought it! The same goes for my floral skirt, I think it is the best thing I've bought from Sheinside so far!

Keppel Island - Our holiday in Australia

If you need a holiday, a day away or just a little break - Great Keppel Island is an amazing place to go! Great Keppel Island lies 15 kilometres off the coast from Yeppoon in Central Queensland. The island has a long history - it was discovered and named by James Cook in 1770. Great Keppel Island is also called Wappaburra which means 'resting place'. Great Keppel Island is a perfect tropical getaway - turquoise waters, beautiful beaches and many holiday activities. The island is also part of the Great Barrier Reef, which makes it an amazing opportunity for tourists and anyone else who wants to discover a bit more about marine wildlife. The Great Barrier Reef is part of a Marine Park, meaning it is protected from damaging activities with some areas of the park strictly regulated. We took part in the Coral Cruise tour, which we spent the duration of on a glass bottom boat. It was really cool! We got to know a bit more about the reef, saw corals and fish. I have never seen suc
