I skipped the June edition of the Love Me Beauty box and thought twice before deciding to order for July. I already have so many cosmetic and beauty products and I don't know if I would ever end up using them all. I've mentioned it previously but what I really like about Love Me Beauty is that you can pick from 3 different menus, choosing what suits you best. When I saw this months brands and offers, I just couldn't resist!
I chose Edition 3.
Overall I am very pleased with the box and as it is worth around £60 all together, I am extremely happy I paid only £10 + postage & packing!
I chose Edition 3.
Inside there were 6 products, 5 of them full size.
Lashem Lash Enhancing Serum - RRP £40 (3.5ml), mine is a sample size 2ml.
I have been thinking of getting a eyelash serum for a while but as they are quite expensive I didn't want to buy anything before actually trying the product out first. That is why beauty box samples are so useful! This lash enhancing serum nourishes and conditions. The result is longer looking lashes within 2 weeks. A thin line of serum applied on a clean skin to the base of your eyelashes in one continuous stroke. It should be used only once a day, as the serums long lasting ingredients keep working long after applying.
OFRA Pressed Eye Shadow in 'Gold Rush' - RRP £8.80, full size product
This eye shadow is one of the colours from OFRA's 'Diamonds are Forever' palette collection. It has a nice shimmer colour, which makes eyes sparkle like diamonds!
OFRA Eyeliner in 'Black' - RRP £7.60
A water resistant pencil, which can be used on the upper and lower lash line. This pencil is suitable for the most sensitive eye area. It is also very creamy and can be smudged for the perfect smoky eye. With a synthetic beeswax base, this eyeliner is smooth and soft with a long lasting application.
So Susan Flutter Mascara - RRP £14.95
This mascara is new to the So Susan line. I have been very happy with their products so far and am very excited to try out this mascara. I am very funny with mascaras and so far I have preferred Max Factor over anything else. As I opened it, I noticed that the brush is a bit too short and small for my lashes. The general, small brushes are best for short lashes. I was also expecting more thick bristles to help separate lashes and achieve volume. I prefer thick bristles as they can get close to the eyes and grab each and every little lash easily. Well, I will still give it a try!
So Susan Dual Brow Powder - RRP £11.95
This smudge-proof dual-shade compact brow powder is infused with Aloe Extract and Carrot Seed Oil and perfect for a sensitive skin around the eyes. I have already used it on my brows and for the first time I think I didn't do too badly. I need to practise though, as I mainly use a eyebrow pencil and powder made my brows look much more thicker.
The Teashed Skinny Tea 20-whole leaf green tea silky pyramid teabags - £3.50
This is a packet of 20 green tea bags which are renowned for boosting metabolism. The card included says that the whole leaves used inside the pyramid silky bags give a rich rounded flavour and they do not have that bitter taste like many other green teas, which are made from the 'dust' of tea leaves. I do not believe in any kind of skinny-mini-me teas or tea detoxes or restricted diets, so I am not going to expect anything else to happen other than having a nice warm brew!
Overall I am very pleased with the box and as it is worth around £60 all together, I am extremely happy I paid only £10 + postage & packing!
