My Little Provence Box

My Little Box this month takes us to the historical province of Provence  in southeastern France, which is the birthplace of L'Occitane. Olivier Baussan is the visionary behind the brand who sold his own essential oils at local markets in the 70s, now 40 years later L'Occitane is one of the world's best known brands with stores in over 90 countries. The box is illustrated by Kanako and as always contains several fashion, beauty and lifestyle items: A My Little World magazine A Kanako illustrated card My Little Doll Magnets An Embroidery Cuff  Beauty products - 4 by L'Occitane and 1 by My Little Beauty The My Little World poster is filled with interviews, tutorials and make up ideas. I miss the old magazine a bit, as the posters are a bit confusing to read and the constant rotating to read articles is frustrating.  My Little Doll Magnets - £6 I am a big fan of fridge magnets and I think this is such a great idea for someone who is into mixing a...

My Little Dream Box

The April edition of My Little Box arrived about a week ago but I've been so busy with everything else that I've left opening it up until the last minute. My Little Dream Box is waiting to be reviewed, so here it is!    April's My Little Dream Box included: Walt Disney Quoted Cloud My Little World Magazine/Poster Rotating Stamp - £8 ''Bonne Etoile'' Necklace - £20 Do All Things With Love Drawstring bag 3 Beauty Products ''Dreams - your head is full of them.'' So true! I feel like this time My Little Box knew exactly how I've been feeling lately. Correction - dreaming lately. I have been dreaming about everything, mostly the future of course. It is so easy to get yourself distracted from the real world. I think this Walt Disney ''If you can dream it, you can do it'' quote is a good reminder that we can dream but it is also important to make sure that we try to achieve them. I think hiding something in...

My Little Superbox

I have been subscribed to My Little Box since September last year and this is now my 7th box. I don't think I can say enough how much I look forward to them each month and they keep surprising me! If you are interested in what My Little Box has offered over the past half a year, click on the months - September , October , November , December , January and February .  This month My Little Superbox includes two lifestyle and three beauty products. Winter is almost over and I can already feel spring in the air! I am sure this months box will help me get through March - it will keep me motivated and make my days super! Superstickers - £4  I love stickers. When I was younger, collecting stickers was my hobby. I had many sticker albums and always picked up different kinds - mostly animals, cartoons, letters, numbers, flat or puffy stickers. Fabric (cotton, velvet) stickers are my favourite. My mum and dad even helped me with my collection. I exchanged stickers with...

My Little Frenchie Box

My Little Box subscribers in February received a collaboration box with a French model, the face of Chanel in the 80s, Queen of Paris - Ines de La Fressange .  What does it mean to be a Parisian woman? I read an interview with Ines in My Little World magazine to try to understand the 'Frenchie' theme a little more. After reading the interview, it all makes sense to me how she became (and still is) a French fashion icon. Ines was different from all the other women modelling in the 1970's - she was outspoken and independent at a time when models were pictured as walking coat hangers and paid to frown. She did and still does whatever she likes, breaking the rules and refusing to dress like a girly girl. Her own brand, launched in 1991, became a style reference - blazer, trench coat, navy jumper and ballet flats are all part of the Parisian style. Coming back to the box, the My Little (Frenchie) Box this month included several fashion, lifestyle and beauty products:  A M...

My Little Energy Box

This month's box is fitness-related and has been renamed the My Little Energy Box . Many people, including myself, chose to start 2015 with a resolution to get more fit and healthy. My Little Box definitely helps to kick start the year! The box includes several lifestyle and beauty items: A Kanako 'Happy 2015' illustrated card A 2015 My Little Box Calendar A My Little World Magazine A My Little Gym/Sport Bag 3 Beauty Products   As always, I'm a big fan of Kanako's illustrations and January brings one of my favourites so far. The card is so positive and will definitely be a big inspiration for this year. I'm planning to frame it and keep it in my bedroom so I can start my day with optimism!   I love calendars - they keep me super organised. It is a bit of an awkward size and thickness to carry around in my bag so it would be great if I could find space for it on my dressing table or on the wall.     My Little Sports Bag sounds ...

My Little Box UK Christmas / December

This month My Little Box has teamed up with fashion and beauty blogger/vlogger Fleur De Force for their December edition. The outside of the box looks super girly and I think it is one of my favourites so far! The box includes several Christmas-related goodies and 3 beauty products. I am really happy with this cute little knitted hairband . The last time I wore a hairband was years ago when I was in primary school. It brings back lot of memories and I prefer this grey colour for a more modest look. It is very well made and has a bit of shiny thread woven in making it look a bit seasonal. I am definitely going to wear it - I never say no to accessories! The box included several gift wrapping essentials like patterned tape ,  gift tags and string . I think it is a lovely idea for those who love wrapping presents for Christmas. I am probably going to use them as I still have a few presents left to wrap! This months My Little Word magazine is filled w...
