Bloggers Swap

I spotted a post on an Estonian blog group I follow where bloggers came up with the idea of exchanging packages with each other. I love making presents, so I posted my message and got a reply from Häly at Smaylest. We agreed on 5 different categories: food, beauty, accessories, homeware and book/movie/music.

When I opened the box, I was really happy to see this white wire fruit bowl - my previous bowl was looking very worn out and I was already thinking of replacing it. I always have some fruit in the kitchen, so this is super useful!

I am a big fan of JOIK as well as coconut, so this body lotion is exactly my kind of thing. I've used JOIK body lotions in the past and found they are all very light which is perfect for the
season.


Luckily, I haven't had the chance to read this one yet. I haven't seen the movie either!  



I don't wear much silver and sadly I am allergic to nickel, so these earrings will need to be tested first. They have a very beautiful design and I am sure I could wear them for a short period of time without hurting myself.
 

There were also a couple of sweets and Estonian chocolate bars in the box! I was really happy with the idea of a Bloggers Swap. I would love to do this again some time!

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. Lilla Rose Flexi Clips

  Today I want to talk a bit about my hair and my recent purchase from a company called Lilla Rose . Lilla Rose is a unique hair and jewellery accessory company from the US. They have many different hair items but I was more interested in their beautiful and well-known Flexi Clip. I got myself two of these - Autumn's Delight in size small and Festive Leaf in extra small. Before ordering I made sure of which size would fit best for my flat and thin hair.       Both of my Flexi Clips look stunning. The beaded wire is quite bendable but strong, the sliding pin is adjustable and they feel high-quality. I chose mine in a copper/rust shade but there are also silver and gold shades and so many different styles and colours available. As I recently cut my long hair short, I don't have many options with styling. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail or a half ponytail.
