This cute set of 3 handmade headbands was a gift to Saskia from my friend whose sister owns a hair accessory shop called O&OJ. I have always been a bit sceptical about hair accessories; sometimes it looks painful when a baby is wearing a bow or hairband as it looks too tight. I didn't think I would have Saskia wear bows until she was a few years older but I found myself putting these on her anyway! I had not tried any other hair accessories on Saskia before, so I didn't have much to compare but these are beautiful on her. I spotted a post on an Estonian blog group I follow where bloggers came up with the idea of exchanging packages with each other . I love making presents, so I posted my messa ge and got a reply from Häly at Smaylest . We agreed on 5 different categories: food, beauty, accessories, homeware and book/movi e /music. When I opened the box, I was really happy to see this white wire fruit bowl - my previous bowl was looking very worn out and I was alread y thinking of replac ing it . I always have some fruit in the kitchen, so this is super useful! I am a big fan of JOIK as well as coconut, so this body lotion is exactly my kind of thing. I ' ve used JOIK body lotions in the past and found they are all very light which is perfect for the season. L uckily, I haven't had the chance to read this one yet . I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. I was very lucky to find this beautiful butterfly in my mailbox today! This is a bow-tie brooch created by independent Estonian artist Mari Ojasaar. Her handmade leather accessories brand KUMA was launched in 2013 and her line of book inspired leather clutches and leather butterfly brooches are simply eye catching! I don't wear many accessories at once, by that I mean I usually like to style my outfit with one statement item. This little butterfly would be perfect to do that! I chose my butterfly in the red and white colour. It was quite hard as there are so many cute designs to pick from. Each bow tie brooch is made from leather and has a unique butterfly illustration. I have my first bloggers event coming up in a few days. I am attending an event at The Body Shop in Manchester, where they will be launching a new range of bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products.   Today I want to talk a bit about my hair and my recent purchase from a company called Lilla Rose . Lilla Rose is a unique hair and jewellery accessory company from the US. They have many different hair items but I was more interested in their beautiful and well-known Flexi Clip. I got myself two of these - Autumn's Delight in size small and Festive Leaf in extra small. Before ordering I made sure of which size would fit best for my flat and thin hair.       Both of my Flexi Clips look stunning. The beaded wire is quite bendable but strong, the sliding pin is adjustable and they feel high-quality. I chose mine in a copper/rust shade but there are also silver and gold shades and so many different styles and colours available. As I recently cut my long hair short, I don't have many options with styling. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail or a half ponytail. It is time to take a look inside my jewellery box! I don't wear many accessories during the winter. Why? Maybe because I am all wrapped up and it can be so annoying when earrings, necklaces, bracelets and so on get caught on the extra clothes. But now that spring has arrived, it is time to take all of my accessories out and start wearing them!     I had actually forgotten how much I had in this box - it was such a surprise. It felt like I had just bought them again! I found loads of hair clips and hairbands, which were all ordered from eBay. I don't think I have paid over £5 for any one of them (postage and packing included). They came from China and like everybody knows, it takes about a month for them to arrive!   This peacock hair clip is my favourite. I have worn it a couple of times and I can't really complain about the quality. It actually looks like it is worth a bit more than the £2 I paid.     I love these two ha...
