Bloggers Swap

I spotted a post on an Estonian blog group I follow where bloggers came up with the idea of exchanging packages with each other . I love making presents, so I posted my messa ge and got a reply from Häly at Smaylest . We agreed on 5 different categories: food, beauty, accessories, homeware and book/movi e /music. When I opened the box, I was really happy to see this white wire fruit bowl - my previous bowl was looking very worn out and I was alread y thinking of replac ing it . I always have some fruit in the kitchen, so this is super useful! I am a big fan of JOIK as well as coconut, so this body lotion is exactly my kind of thing. I ' ve used JOIK body lotions in the past and found they are all very light which is perfect for the season. L uckily, I haven't had the chance to read this one yet . I haven't seen the movie either!    I don't wear much silver and sadly I am allergic to nickel, so the se ea rrings will need to be test...

'I Love Autumn'' Wish List

Sofa Cushion Pillow Case / Autumn Leaf Cushion Cover / Yankee Candle / Autumn Owl Trio Oven Glove / Folklore Four Seasons Bowl Set / Knitted Fluffy Boot Slippers / Laurel Burch Shoulder Tote / Autumnal Orange Hanging Fabric Fox Christmas Tree Decorations / Apple Roses / I am obsessed with decorating our flat at the moment and even though I've already bought a couple of new cushion cases, I've fallen in love with these autumn-themed ones. Yellow, orange and gold colours really look beautiful at this time of year. I also start burning candles more often when it gets a bit darker outside, so a couple of new Yankee candles are definitely something I need to pick up soon.  Folklore Four Seasons Bowls and an Owl Oven Glove would be such a lovely addition to my kitchen! I recently discovered Folklore kitchenware and I am a huge fan. The Hanging Fabric Fox decorations are advertised more as Christmas Tree decorations but I think they would look super cute anywhere around t...

My living room dream

I have been loving the idea of having a 60's style home. We are renting at the moment so obviously we can't do much with our flat but it doesn't stop me from dreaming and thinking about our own place. I was looking at different styles of home decor and came across so much beautiful furniture. I like the combination of grey, green and orange in a living room - these colours instantly give me a countrysidey feeling.  I picked out a drawer and a few 'Danish' style couches, a couple of pillows (which I like so much) and a bonsai tree. I love plants but I would prefer something cute and small, rather than big palmy-type plants. The whole set has a vintage vibe but is still quite modern and minimalistic.  I'm a clean freak. I don't like wearing shoes inside, I can't stand dusty furniture, I love clean floors and I change my bedding every two weeks (sometimes even more often). This style of furniture (long legs, wide open space underneath) w...

Make up organisers

Hi everybody! Here are a few pictures of how I have been organising my make up lately. I like keeping my beauty products in their bags but I think it makes my make up shelf look so much nicer using these clear organisers.  The make up organiser on the right was ordered from Amazon. It is pretty small, with only two draws but I think it is a good size for me. I use this organiser mostly for my everyday cosmetics and things I need. I paid about £15 for this organiser and I think it is a lovely little piece to have.  The organiser on the left was bought from TK Maxx for £5. I think it is a holder for nail polishes but I also use it for oils and other beauty stuff.
