Glossybox UK / December

Christmas this year came early with Glossybox! I received my box on Saturday (6th of December) which is pretty amazing - usually they don't arrive until almost the end of the month. I am going on holiday in a few days and I will be back just before Christmas, so I am super happy that I have the opportunity to take some of these products with me on my trip!

The box looks absolutely gorgeous! I love the snow pattern and the print looks like a Christmas present.

Inside there are 5 products and 4 of them are full sized.

I am going to start with the TRESemmé Renewal Hair and Scalp Nourish & Renew Tonic - £5.50 for 150ml

With tea tree extract and sunflower seed oil, this salon quality tonic will instantly help to nourish the scalp and renew the hair. For the best results, start with TRESemmé Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner. On damp hair, apply a small amount of tonic directly onto the scalp. Tilt your head and use the nozzle to lift hair in sections to target roots. Comb treatment through. Style hair as usual.

It helps repair by nourishing at the surface cellular level. The result is a well-balanced, healthy feeling, refreshed scalp and soft, manageable hair.

I can't believe Glossybox picked another product from SkinPep - this time it is not a tiny 3ml sample! About a week ago I made a little order with SkinPep and came across the Hydra Boost - Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum which luckily I didn't order as it arrived in my December Glossybox! I am so happy that I made the right decision and bought their Acid Peel instead. Now I have the chance to try it and if I love it (which I will, I am sure!) I will definitely use the 50% off code Glossybox so kindly offered to purchase more SkinPep products.

This serum is recommended for anyone of any age interested in preserving and maintaining the skins natural elasticity and youthful qualities. Hydra Boost contains Hyaluronic Acid which is a vital structural component of the skin - it is responsible for the skins moisture, suppleness and elasticity. The serum provides nourishing ingredients your skin needs to stay radiant and beautiful. It can also hydrate skin even in dry climates or heated rooms.

Apply under creams in the evening or alone to hydrate skin. Gently massage a small amount of serum onto cleansed skin in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes to archive perfect skin hydration.

All That Jazz Professional Nail Lacquer in colour Laurens - Miss Fancy Pants is a 15ml (£9.98) bottle of glitter, shimmer and metallic orange/red shade. I think this is an amazing pick for the festive season. Thank you, Glossybox! It is super Christmasy and I will definitely wear it at the family dinner.

Anatomicals Zap! Zap!Zap! Gets That Chap. Day and Night Spot Stick - £3.79 for 7ml

This little double ended stick looks like a real hero! Especially when it has a day time formula and an evening formula to work on spots all day long. The key ingredients are tea tree oil and witch hazel.

Day has a clear formula while night has white formula. It seems like the 'day' side is clear so you can easily use this even if you're going out - it dries quickly and leaves no marks. I have been reading a lot of good things about this stick so I am excited to try it out. The only thing I am not very keen on is that when you apply it on a spot, the applicator goes back into your 'clean' solution with all the bacteria. This is why I would probably clean my skin thoroughly before applying this treatment.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain (£12.99 for 5g) is super blendable, 2 in 1 and a handbag essential to finish off any look. It is in a beautiful coral shade, suits all skin tones and is easy to apply - even without a mirror! It is also oil free, which means no blocked pores!

I am loving the December Glossybox! I don't have any complaints or anything I really dislike about this box. I am happy that I know all of the brands but at the same time I have not tried these particular products, so it is totally a win for me!

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. The event was carried out by Fiona - she is a skin expert at the Manchester store. Everyone was able to get personal skin consult...

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. I love the copper detailing and the simple look on my jacket, plus it's super lightweight. My trainers are by Puma & Alexander McQueen (click here to read my previous post). I also just noticed that I don't have any good shots of my Michael Kors bag, which I absolutely adore by the way! I'm sure everybody knows how beautiful these bags are so I think this will do for now. The bag and scarf were both Christmas presents fr...
