JOIK haul // Estonian skin care

The first time I heard about JOIK was a couple of years ago when I came across their website while researching natural Estonian skin care products. I love organic beauty products and I've tried different Estonian skin care products in the past so and thought to try out JOIK. Sadly, I haven't seen any shops here in the UK selling Estonian skin care products or JOIK in particular. I found a beauty shop online called Love Lula which offers natural skin care products from so many different brands - JOIK is one of them.

Firstly I have to say that I am very pleased with Love Lula. Their website is really easy to navigate and my order was with me in just two days. The only thing I could pick on was that one lid was loose and the product was leaking. Luckily it was the mask powder so there wasn't much damage.

I ordered 4 products and 3 of them are quite new to me.

Radiance improving cranberry and blackcurrant facial mask for dull and lifeless skin - £11
I love powder masks, they keep longer and I get more use out of the product. As autumn is already here and winter just around the corner, I picked up this facial mask to brighten up my skin. It is a clay mask which will be perfect for my oily skin.

Anti-cellulite bodyoil with seaweed extract and moisturising oils - £17.50
I have never used cellulite creams or oils before but turning 27 last month I thought I should start experimenting. It's £17.50 for 100ml so it had better work!

Refreshing footbath salt with menthol & peppermint - £10.50
This footbath salt caught my eye straight away. I love the idea of peppermint and menthol together, it sounds like heaven for tired feet. I've been going to the gym a lot recently and I think my feet deserve a little treat after hours on the treadmill.

Exfoliating hand & foot mask with seasalt and nurturing oils - £11
Inspired after buying the footbath salt I also bought a little extra product for my hands and feet. During the cold and windy weather I experience dry and flakey skin and my hands get it especially. I am trying to prepare myself this time and make sure my hands and feet are silky soft!

I'm excited now to try out these products. Once I have used them, I will definitely let you all know how they work!

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. The event was carried out by Fiona - she is a skin expert at the Manchester store. Everyone was able to get personal skin consult...

OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. I love the copper detailing and the simple look on my jacket, plus it's super lightweight. My trainers are by Puma & Alexander McQueen (click here to read my previous post). I also just noticed that I don't have any good shots of my Michael Kors bag, which I absolutely adore by the way! I'm sure everybody knows how beautiful these bags are so I think this will do for now. The bag and scarf were both Christmas presents fr...

Lilla Rose Flexi Clips

Today I want to talk a bit about my hair and my recent purchase from a company called Lilla Rose . Lilla Rose is a unique hair and jewellery accessory company from the US. They have many different hair items but I was more interested in their beautiful and well-known Flexi Clip. I got myself two of these - Autumn's Delight in size small and Festive Leaf in extra small. Before ordering I made sure of which size would fit best for my flat and thin hair.       Both of my Flexi Clips look stunning. The beaded wire is quite bendable but strong, the sliding pin is adjustable and they feel high-quality. I chose mine in a copper/rust shade but there are also silver and gold shades and so many different styles and colours available. As I recently cut my long hair short, I don't have many options with styling. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail or a half ponytail. Autumn's Delight fits all my hair between the clip and Festive Leaf is perfect for a smal...
