Empties

I can't remember ever having done an empties post before. If I have, it must have been a very long time ago. Here are my recently used up products:

Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Grunge Glamour Tousled Salt Spray - £6
I think I received this spray in a beauty box a couple of months ago and since then I've been using it every single morning. This salt spray gives my hair such a lovely voluminous texture without leaving it sticky or heavy. This big bottle lasted me about two months with daily use. I will definitely get some more!

Tend Skin The Skin Care Solution For Unsightly Razor Bumps, Ingrown Hair And Razor Burns - £12
I bought this solution from Amazon a year ago as I was experiencing sore, red skin every time I shaved my legs. I read so many good reviews and thought I'd try it out. I have to admit, it really does work! It reduces the appearance of red razor bumps within hours and leaves skin soft and smooth. It also prevents ingrown hairs. This product is truly a miracle. I am testing out some other brands at the moment but I'm quite tempted to get a second bottle of Tend Skin!

Mer & Mistral Shower Gel sample bottle
I received this tiny shower gel in the L'Occitane edition of My Little Box and to be honest I have not been very impressed. It does cleanse the skin but I had to use a lot of product to get a nice lather! Sadly, it left my skin dry and flaky and I had to use my moisturiser immediately afterwards. I wouldn't buy this at £12 a bottle.

MONUSpa Warming Ginger Body Oil sample bottle
We don't have a bath in our flat but this Warming Body Oil luckily also works perfectly under the shower! I only needed a small amount of oil rubbed into my skin just before rinsing. The oil instantly emulsified into a milk and left my skin nourished with no oily residue. This tiny bottle lasted me ages! I would love to try this in a bath too.

Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Cuticle & Nail Moisture Treatment Pen - £6
I have been using these pens for years now. I try out other brands every now and then but I always come back to this product! I get very dry hands. Rough, breaking and peeling cuticles are my biggest problems during cold weather. This Sally Hansen cuticle pen nourishes my dry cuticles and nails instantly. It contains Vitamins A, C, E, Pro-vitamin B5 and Aloe, which all deeply hydrate, nourish, moisturise and support nail growth. This pen has a really soft brush which makes it easy to apply.

Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara - £9.99
This mascara is one of my all time favourites! It separates my lashes well, doesn't leave them clumpy, gives lash volume and lasts a long time. I have repurchased this mascara so many times that I have lost count. I'm disappointed that I've run out of this product but at the same time I now have the chance to test out some other mascaras I've recently bought or received from beauty boxes.

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

Esimene trimester ehk esimesed kolm kuud \\ beebi number 2

10 things to do in Rockhampton

I have still a couple more posts coming up about my Australian trip. I hope they are an interesting read! After Brisbane , we flew to Tristan's hometown Rockhampton where we spent the remaining 2 weeks of our holiday. Rockhampton is a small city in Queensland with a population of around 62,000 people. Rockhampton experiences over 300 days of sunshine each year, which means it is a good place for tourism and outdoor activities. Known as the "Beef Capital of Australia" there is much more to do than just sit in the pub and eat burgers! I have made a list of 10 things you can do around Rockhampton. 1. Rockhampton Kershaw Botanical Gardens are a well visited attraction in Rockhampton. The park has many paved walking paths, rest areas, drinking fountains and beautiful scenery with many palms and tropical flowers.   2. Quay Street in Rockhampton is full of beautiful architecture and old buildings. The city centre (main street) is not very big but I think we spent at ...
