h2o+ face Oasis - Daily Hydration System Set

I first heard about h2o+ skin care products last year when I recieved a tiny Hydrating Treatment sample in a Glossybox (November). I started using the product immediately and it made my greasy skin more balanced and healthy feeling.

After trying it out, I decided to buy a full size product and while searching came across a h2o+ three step Daily Hydration System. I ordered it from Amazon as the brand is originally from the US and I wasn't sure if they had a shop in Manchester. The set included a Face Oasis Dual-Action Exfoliating Cleanser (30ml), a Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment (50ml) and an Eye Oasis Moisture Replenishing Treatment (7ml) - worth £40 altogether.

This is an oil-free collection which has been formulated to cleanse and hydrate normal to oily skin. I have combination skin - an oily T zone but the rest of my face is quite dry.

Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment is an oil-free moisture gel which delivers deep hydration and contains vitamins A, C and E. They help to increase the elasticity of the skin, also repairing and preventing cell damage.

This gel is gentle and soothing. It makes my skin super soft, it sinks in quickly and won't leave my face sticky or heavy. I use it as a daytime moisturiser and apply it in the morning after washing my face. The product gives me a refreshing feeling and it hardly feels like a moisturiser at all. I think it is going to last me a long time as I only need a tiny amount of product - I usually tap the gel on my forehead, cheeks, chin and gently massage it all over my face. All of my previous moisturisers have left me with oily skin in just hours, this gel is different. I can see myself using it for years!

Face Oasis Dual-Action Exfoliating Cleanser - 30ml

This exfoliating cleanser is full of fruit enzymes and marine algae which helps to sweep away dull surface cells without abrasion or irritation. It contains exfoliating Jojoba beads that glide smoothly across the skins surface and push away dead surface cells. The result is luminous, smooth and radiant skin.

I love different exfoliators and this is a really good face scrub. It doesn't leave my face dry or flakey and gives my skin a deep cleanse. I use it under the shower, as it is much easier to wash it off.

Eye Oasis Moisture Replenishing Treatment - 7ml

This eye gel is oil-free, lightweight and fast absorbing. I have dry skin around my eyes and this treatment hydrates and moisturises it quite well. I use it in the evenings before going to bed.

It should minimize the appearance of dark circles under the eyes but I haven't noticed any difference so far. The description says that the gel should reduce the appearance of fine lines but I can't confirm it either as I don't have this problem (yet!). Hopefully this is true though! If you are looking for a good eye gel to keep your skin gentle, moisturised and refreshed, then I would definitely recommend this one!

My skin absolutely loves h2o+ and I would love to try some more products from their Oasis range. My wishlist incudes a body scrub, cleansing water and a face mist.

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. The event was carried out by Fiona - she is a skin expert at the Manchester store. Everyone was able to get personal skin consult...

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. I love the copper detailing and the simple look on my jacket, plus it's super lightweight. My trainers are by Puma & Alexander McQueen (click here to read my previous post). I also just noticed that I don't have any good shots of my Michael Kors bag, which I absolutely adore by the way! I'm sure everybody knows how beautiful these bags are so I think this will do for now. The bag and scarf were both Christmas presents fr...
