New in - Kaeso

A few months ago I bought myself two products from a beauty range called Kaeso. I desperately needed a new face mask so I bought a Rebalancing Willow Bark & Witch Hazel Face Mask and I also bought Cuticle Oil as a little extra experiment. I thoroughly researched their products to make sure I knew exactly what I was going to put on my face before buying. I couldn't find many reviews on this brand but the ones I did manage to find were positive!

Kaeso is a salon beauty range covering beauty, body, manicure, pedicure and aromatherapy. Kaeso delivers effective and luxurious professional products at a great price. Their unique formulations are made with the finest, natural ingredients to assure the highest quality skin care. Kaeso also meets a criteria where all products must be free from Parabens, Sulphates, Propylene Glycol and Mineral Oil.

Kaeso Rebalancing Willow Bark & Witch Hazel Face Mask (95ml) is most suitable for oily/combination skin. It is a perfect treatment for skin to reduce excess oil and remove impurities. The mask itself is very creamy and has a light texture.

It contains extracts of willow bark and witch hazel - two revitalising additions that can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while also helping to refine pores and reduce oiliness. Grape Seed Oil has massive moisture infusing properties which make the skin sooth and soft.

I have been using this mask once a week on my face and neck, leaving it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. It takes quite a long time to dry but it is so light and it lets the skin breathe. It smells lovely and after washing it off my skin feels soft and nourished. I don't need to use a toner or night cream - my face doesn't feel tight, dry or sensitive. I am loving this mask at the moment and I am really happy that my skin likes it too!

Kaeso Juicy Drops Cuticle Oil (15 ml) is an essential part of any manicure treatment in any season. My hands and cuticles have always been dry, the weather has been changing a lot and my 'seasonal dry skin' has become worse with January and February being windy and cold. This oil is specially formulated to nourish, moisturise and rehydrate dry, damaged cuticles and is enriched with natural oils to help promote healthy regrowth.

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. The event was carried out by Fiona - she is a skin expert at the Manchester store. Everyone was able to get personal skin consult...

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. I love the copper detailing and the simple look on my jacket, plus it's super lightweight. My trainers are by Puma & Alexander McQueen (click here to read my previous post). I also just noticed that I don't have any good shots of my Michael Kors bag, which I absolutely adore by the way! I'm sure everybody knows how beautiful these bags are so I think this will do for now. The bag and scarf were both Christmas presents fr...
