Fighting with the rain

This is me wearing quite light clothes, even if it is raining every 30 minutes and it is only 15 degrees outside. I have to stay positive and fight against the rain with my pink and light blue outfit.
I just put my coat and jumpers at the bottom of my closet, as I was absolutely sure that summer had finally arrived in England and I can start to wear more dresses and skirts. Yes, now you know why Brits talk so much about weather - it is changing all the time!

Anyway, Tristan and I went to visit Manchester Central Library, which opened a couple of months ago after being closed for around 4 years (from 2010-2014) for renovating and refurbishing. I don't have a picture of how it looks from the outside, as there is still some constuction work taking place and it is leaving a big mess around the library.

I am wearing black animal print trousers from Zara and light blue pinstripe sailor blazer from Primark. My denim lace backpack is from SwankySwans. My two-tone (silver and gold) watch is from Rotary.

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. Lilla Rose Flexi Clips

Today I want to talk a bit about my hair and my recent purchase from a company called Lilla Rose . Lilla Rose is a unique hair and jewellery accessory company from the US. They have many different hair items but I was more interested in their beautiful and well-known Flexi Clip. I got myself two of these - Autumn's Delight in size small and Festive Leaf in extra small. Before ordering I made sure of which size would fit best for my flat and thin hair. Both of my Flexi Clips look stunning. The beaded wire is quite bendable but strong, the sliding pin is adjustable and they feel high-quality. I chose mine in a copper/rust shade but there are also silver and gold shades and so many different styles and colours available. As I recently cut my long hair short, I don't have many options with styling. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail or a half ponytail.
