Tristan and I had a late breakfast in the Northern Quarter at a place called Teacup Kitchen. As the name already gives away there is a large variety of tea but there are also coffees, cakes and so much more! We both started our day with a little bit of sugar - Hearty Scone. It is a classic English scone (a single-serving cake or quick bread). I have never had a scone before but the taste and texture reminded me of something similar I've had before. It was lightly sweetened but it came with an extra dosage - a pot of clotted cream and strawberry jam. After some food we walked around the shopping centre and I had to try on some of the sunglasses. TKMaxx had a good section of Vera Wang designs. Luckily I was able to control myself and not buy any! They were fairly cheap though, around £30 (RRP £130)!
