Love Me Beauty - March box

My box for March is Edition 3.

I was thinking to skip this month but when I checked and saw what they were offering this month, I was very tempted and made an order. This Love Me Beauty box had a really good selection of 6 products.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company False Lashes in 'Gracie' - Full size, RRP £6. I am starting with these, as I never wear false lashes and can't add any positive or negative comment about this product. What I can say though is that on the weekend I will try to do my first giveaway, and these lashes will definitely be included with a few other things!

Deep Steep Foot Stick in 'Candy Mint' - Full size (15ml), RRP £3.60. This foot stick contains powerful essential oils of organic Shea and Cocoa Butters. I absolutely love products for feet. After a long day at work or walking it is just so good to give your feet a little treatment. You can apply it on the heels and cuticles or for the full treatment it can be applied to the entire foot. I like to cover my feet with cotton socks to help the product to lock in moisture.

Nip + Fab Viper Venom Eye Fix - Full size (15ml), RRP £14.95. A refreshing eye gel in a cooling roll on applicator with wrinkle minimising LIFTONIN and SYN-AKE to smooth the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles around eyes. It is definitely something for me to try, as skin around my eyes gets very dry sometimes. I think it is an amazing size eye pen to carry around and give your eyes a hydrating boost whenever you need it.

Murad Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask - Sample size (7.5ml), RRP £25. This treatment frees skin from dull, dry surface cells and trapped impurities and an antioxidant rich formula defends skin from harmful free radical damage. I am very excited to try this. I actually have tried pomegranate juice as a mask on my skin. Years ago I read an article about pomegranate and I read it's meant to help make your skin youthful and clean-looking.

BlanX White Shock Toothpaste - Sample size (15ml), RRP £7.50 (50ml). I have read a couple of good reviews about this product before and it was a very nice surprise to see that this months beauty box is offered a sample to try. So before buying a full size product, I could experiment to see if it met my expectations.

Quintessentially English Bath Salts in 'Vintage Bouquet' - Sample size 50g, RRP £4.25 (100g). Quintessentially English bath salts are made with dead sea salt and pure essential oils. Vintage Bouquet is a wonderful aroma mixed of Jasmine, Bergamot and Geranium. Sadly I do not have a bath in my flat, though I might hold onto on this product for a little bit as I love bath salts, fizzing balls or anything that helps to lighten the mood in a steamy hot bath and bathroom. They really help to relax and soothe the skin amazingly.

I am trying to experiment more with unknown brands and different cosmetics. Box costs £10 + postage & packing, but after receiving very good sample and full size products, I think it is definitely worth it. Overall I am very happy with this months box.

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. The event was carried out by Fiona - she is a skin expert at the Manchester store. Everyone was able to get personal skin consult...

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. I love the copper detailing and the simple look on my jacket, plus it's super lightweight. My trainers are by Puma & Alexander McQueen (click here to read my previous post). I also just noticed that I don't have any good shots of my Michael Kors bag, which I absolutely adore by the way! I'm sure everybody knows how beautiful these bags are so I think this will do for now. The bag and scarf were both Christmas presents fr...
