KUMA bow-tie brooch / Estonian design

I was very lucky to find this beautiful butterfly in my mailbox today! This is a bow-tie brooch created by independent Estonian artist Mari Ojasaar. Her handmade leather accessories brand KUMA was launched in 2013 and her line of book inspired leather clutches and leather butterfly brooches are simply eye catching! I don't wear many accessories at once, by that I mean I usually like to style my outfit with one statement item. This little butterfly would be perfect to do that! I chose my butterfly in the red and white colour. It was quite hard as there are so many cute designs to pick from. Each bow tie brooch is made from leather and has a unique butterfly illustration. I have my first bloggers event coming up in a few days. I am attending an event at The Body Shop in Manchester, where they will be launching a new range of bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products. I am already planning my outfit and I know how I am going to style it! Check out the Kuma Design Store here ...

April International Degustabox

Tristan and I recently signed up with Degustabox . Degustabox is a monthly subscription service including 9 to 14 food and drink products - many of them are completely new! It costs £12.99 (+ postage) and is a great way to discover new goodies . We love surprises and food so this is a box we can both enjoy. The box was due to arrive at the end of April but we rescheduled the delivery for Saturday, which ended up being in May! This month had a theme - International. I don't think they do it every month, so it was a good time for us to have subscribed. Cirio Supercirio Double Concentrated Tomato Puree Pots (£1.20) and Tomato Fillets (£1.69) are made from Italian tomatoes. These little tomato paste pots are my kitchen cupboard essentials. I could use them on a home made pizza, make tomato sauce for pasta or try a new dish which has been on my mind for a while now - Ukrainian/Russian plov (pilaf). Veetee Spicy Mexican Style Rice and Peri Peri Rice , £1.49 each. Th...

Minimal World / OOTD

I've been keeping a bit of a low profile on my blog recently. I am still posting but lately I've been lacking the motivation to do things. Job hunting has been taking up most of my time and I've also been trying to keep up with my Russian studies. I've struggled to keep up my healthy lifestyle too. I feel like I never have enough free time! Luckily I have a break coming up soon - Tristan, his two friends and I are going on holiday in two weeks to Rome. I'm really excited about it, as visiting Italy has been a secret dream of mine since high school. I had art classes every week and I studied so much on the history and architecture of Rome that it made me feel like I was actually living there. If anyone has any tips or amazing places they want to share with me, let me know in the comments!  I'm going to start May with an outfit post - they are my favourite. I am wearing a Vero Moda light jacket (bought in Estonia years ago), a top from H&M, Zar...

Photo Blogging Challenge: Friends and Family

This is my fourth month taking part in the Photo Blogging Challenge and 'Friends & Family' is my favourite theme so far! I moved to England 5 years ago, I was 21 and left my family and friends in Estonia. It has been the hardest thing in my life but I also met so many interesting people, made new friends and found the love of my life! Tristan and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary this month. For the past 2 years he has been taking me out to fancy restaurants but we decided to do something different this year and have a quiet night in. We cooked Chicken Katsu Curry for dinner and just enjoyed each others company. This is happy us. We had a day out in Manchester and I tried to take a 'walking-selfie' but my friend Marianne photobombed it. It was funny, though! Tristan has been spoiling me every Sunday with American-style pancakes. It has became our tradition. I am very close to my mum and dad. Even though my family live back in Estonia, we...

FNUG / My Looks

I've been obsessed with FNUG nail polishes lately and have recently added another shade to my collection. My Looks is a beautiful coral shade and it perfectly brightens up my day! It has been a lovely colour to wear this month as we've had so many beautiful warm, sunny days!  What makes FNUG such a good nail polish for me is that even after a couple of days, there are no signs of chips, breakage or dry nails. I usually apply two layers and top it with my Nails inc Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat, it makes my nails less shiny and leaves them with a subtle coral colour.

My Little Dream Box

The April edition of My Little Box arrived about a week ago but I've been so busy with everything else that I've left opening it up until the last minute. My Little Dream Box is waiting to be reviewed, so here it is!    April's My Little Dream Box included: Walt Disney Quoted Cloud My Little World Magazine/Poster Rotating Stamp - £8 ''Bonne Etoile'' Necklace - £20 Do All Things With Love Drawstring bag 3 Beauty Products ''Dreams - your head is full of them.'' So true! I feel like this time My Little Box knew exactly how I've been feeling lately. Correction - dreaming lately. I have been dreaming about everything, mostly the future of course. It is so easy to get yourself distracted from the real world. I think this Walt Disney ''If you can dream it, you can do it'' quote is a good reminder that we can dream but it is also important to make sure that we try to achieve them. I think hiding something in...
