MÁDARA City CC Anti-Pollution CC Cream SPF 15, Light Beige - 40ml (RRP €27)

This anti-pollution CC cream corrects all skin tone imperfections, including dullness, redness, sallowness and dark spots. It's very light in texture and gives a nice natural coverage. As it shields the skin from urban toxins and heavy metals that clog pores and damage and inflame the skin, this CC cream is literally perfect for the life in the city.

It contains hyaluronic acid, which should be deeply hydrating but unfortunately I feel like it's still not doing enough for me, so I apply it over my daily moisturiser. I also like to mix it into my liquid highlighter to get a creamier consistency and to make the application of my highlighter easier.

The SPF15 coverage is perfect for me here in UK. At first, my super sensitive skin can't handle much on my face, and secondly I am naturally quite tanned and don't burn very easily. If they ever change the formula though, I would love to give it another go!

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck. My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. Lilla Rose Flexi Clips

Today I want to talk a bit about my hair and my recent purchase from a company called Lilla Rose . Lilla Rose is a unique hair and jewellery accessory company from the US. They have many different hair items but I was more interested in their beautiful and well-known Flexi Clip. I got myself two of these - Autumn's Delight in size small and Festive Leaf in extra small. Before ordering I made sure of which size would fit best for my flat and thin hair. Both of my Flexi Clips look stunning. The beaded wire is quite bendable but strong, the sliding pin is adjustable and they feel high-quality. I chose mine in a copper/rust shade but there are also silver and gold shades and so many different styles and colours available. As I recently cut my long hair short, I don't have many options with styling. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail or a half ponytail.
