Overnight chocolate banana pudding // recipe


I am a big fan of bananas but I am not always in the mood to bake with them. I found so many healthy and tasty overnight pudding recipes and tried one out myself. I made it the night before and it makes a delicious and filling breakfast the next morning! I love chocolate, so I added a bit of raw cocoa (if you don't like raw cocoa you can replace it with cinnamon) and it tasted like melted chocolate in a banana pudding!

Ingredients:
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of raw cocoa (or 1 teaspoon of cinnamon)
  • 1/2 cup jumbo oats
  • 1/3 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
Instructions:
  • Mix together all the liquids: honey, greek yougurt and almond milk
  • Mash a banana with fork
  • Add mashed banana, oats, chia seeds and raw cocoa to the mixture and combine
  • Refrigerate overnight
  • In the morning, top up however you like: dates, walnuts, shredded coconut, almonds or berries. 
I topped my overnight oats with some fresh raspberries and shredded almonds.

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. I love the copper detailing and the simple look on my jacket, plus it's super lightweight. My trainers are by Puma & Alexander McQueen (click here to read my previous post). I also just noticed that I don't have any good shots of my Michael Kors bag, which I absolutely adore by the way!
