New Year - Fresh Start

I have never set a New Year's resolution. Of course, I've had targets I'd have liked to achieve but this is the first time I am going to write them down. I feel like if my goals are in front of me, I am going to be more committed to fulfil them. So here they are, my 9 goals for 2015!
  1. Get a better job - I just feel like I need a new, better job. Who wouldn't?
  2. Continue my Russian studies - I would love to go back to college and improve my Russian language skills. I need to practice frequently before another study year starts. Russian is quite a hard language, so I want to be confident and learn as much as I can. I have loads of textbooks and books that I need to start reading and filling.
  3. Spend more time with my friends and family - I want to visit my family and friends in Estonia more often. I'd also like to go out and do more things with my close friends living locally.
  4. Eat healthy - It is quite easy except when it comes to birthday parties, holidays, Christmas etc. I need to stick to my diet - I have a meal plan I will write down so it will be easier to follow.
  5. Get fit - I am not very committed when it comes to exercising. Everything can ruin my training program - getting ill, holidays, lack of motivation, excuses for myself and so on. I need to be more strict and not give up easily!
  6. Take a trip to America - Another country to cross off! I always wanted to visit the USA. I remember we were once asked in our English lesson what would be our dream English-speaking country to visit and I was the only one saying America!
  7. Save money - Saving money is hard! I need to buy less crap and control my funds.
  8. Be more organised and productive - Having to-do lists and setting deadlines for each list item will help me to manage my time better and not miss out on any important tasks.
  9. Blog more - I enjoy blogging. I think blogging is a good way to share creativity and after each blog post I feel so positive!

  4. great resolutions...I hope to improve my Russian too this year...but I will set my goals realistic and just review what I have already learned (when I took an elective course at University a few years ago). I will, however, try to become completely fluent in Italian.

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. The event was carried out by Fiona - she is a skin expert at the Manchester store. Everyone was able to get personal skin consult...

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. I love the copper detailing and the simple look on my jacket, plus it's super lightweight. My trainers are by Puma & Alexander McQueen (click here to read my previous post). I also just noticed that I don't have any good shots of my Michael Kors bag, which I absolutely adore by the way! I'm sure everybody knows how beautiful these bags are so I think this will do for now. The bag and scarf were both Christmas presents fr...
