My birthday!

Summer has gone so quickly and I can't believe it is already September. I am actually quite excited for autumn. I can't wait to take out my woolly coat and wear boots again. It has been a very windy and rainy summer here in England (no surprise!), so it feels like it has been autumn for a while. I've also been looking forward to September as, at the end of the month, Tristan and I are going on a 3 week holiday to Australia. I am a huge planner when it comes to long trips like this, so I will probably post a lot of  'Getting ready for Australia' kind of posts.

Anyway. On the 1st of September it was my birthday and we (Tristan, Marianne, Katrin and I) celebrated it at Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Manchester. Yes, I love Jamie's Italian! It is a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and good food. I think we've already been there far too many times but I can definitely say it is one of my all time favourite places to eat!

Marianne, Katrin and I.

 Birthday presents.

Thank you, Tristan! I love this watch so much. Sadly the picture really doesn't help show the colour (it is rose gold). He also got me a pink polaroid camera and a camera lens (EF 40ml - a pancake lens) which I am so happy about! He knows me too well!

Marianne got me a make up book! This book covers everything from skincare basics to facial makeup. It explains how to find the right colour and type of foundation for any skin tone, how to apply eye makeup (brows, eyeliner, eye shadow and eyelashes) and so much more. I am excited to follow tips from the book and experiment more with my cosmetic products.

Katrin brought me some goodies from Estonia and also this lovely salt pot!

I love Estonian bread and sausages! The babybel is a little extra snack :)

This was my make up look for the evening.

I need to go for a walk around Manchester. So many interesting buildings!

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

Esimene trimester ehk esimesed kolm kuud \\ beebi number 2

10 things to do in Rockhampton

I have still a couple more posts coming up about my Australian trip. I hope they are an interesting read! After Brisbane , we flew to Tristan's hometown Rockhampton where we spent the remaining 2 weeks of our holiday. Rockhampton is a small city in Queensland with a population of around 62,000 people. Rockhampton experiences over 300 days of sunshine each year, which means it is a good place for tourism and outdoor activities. Known as the "Beef Capital of Australia" there is much more to do than just sit in the pub and eat burgers! I have made a list of 10 things you can do around Rockhampton. 1. Rockhampton Kershaw Botanical Gardens are a well visited attraction in Rockhampton. The park has many paved walking paths, rest areas, drinking fountains and beautiful scenery with many palms and tropical flowers.   2. Quay Street in Rockhampton is full of beautiful architecture and old buildings. The city centre (main street) is not very big but I think we spent at ...
