Still in love with Max Factor - Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Sticks

I think you all know by now how much I love Max Factor, so here is a little post of my favourites.

At the moment I have been loving these two Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Sticks. They are really easy to apply and leave lips moisturised, a bit shiny and super kissable. They are quite long lasting and I like how they are slowly fading but after few hours still leave some colour.

I think they are quite affordable (around £7 from Superdrug, on eBay even cheaper - £4) and definitely worth the money. There are 6 different colours in the range. At first I had the natural pink (Subtle Coral) and had used it so many times, so a couple of weeks ago I thought I'd grow my collection. At first I thought Designer Blossom is a bit dark for me but after wearing it a few times I am now used to it. Also, red lips always complete the look.

First picture is with the Subtle Coral 20, it leaves such a light pink colour on the lips. This is one of my favourites at the moment!

And in this picture I am wearing the Designer Blossom 30.

A little tip on how to get most out of your Giant Pen Stick! I searched for ages before I found the right one - BarryM Pencil Sharpener is the winner!

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. The event was carried out by Fiona - she is a skin expert at the Manchester store. Everyone was able to get personal skin consult...

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

OOTD - The sun has come out!

It has been such a long time since my last fashion post, I've been missing them so much! The second the sun came out, Tristan and I went to the canal and took a few pictures. I think it is still too early for sunglasses but a light jacket is okay when you wear a jumper underneath (Primark) and a cosy leopard print scarf (Linea Cashmink) around your neck.  My black Veromoda jacket and shoes are both from Best Secret. You'll all know by now how much I've been raving about it. I think it is an amazing place for online shopping. I love the copper detailing and the simple look on my jacket, plus it's super lightweight. My trainers are by Puma & Alexander McQueen (click here to read my previous post). I also just noticed that I don't have any good shots of my Michael Kors bag, which I absolutely adore by the way! I'm sure everybody knows how beautiful these bags are so I think this will do for now. The bag and scarf were both Christmas presents fr...
