Liebster Award

Hi to all!

I am very excited as I have been tagged for the Liebster Award. I have been nominated by Floor from Floor's World and here are the questions she asked!

1. Why did you start blogging?
I love fashion and I love shopping, so I thought I would share my fashion ideas with others. I started blogging only about fashion at first but I've been adding a bit of a cosmetic side to my blog as well, of course I also want to practice my English and I think writing a blog is a good way to do both.

2. Who is your style icon and why?
I do not have a particular style icon but I do get style ideas from watching YouTube personalities. I really like Patricia and Barbara. I guess I am a bigger fan of ordinary people than Hollywood celebrities.

3. What would you like to accomplish with your blog?

I hope people would get some inspiration from my blog and would enjoy reading my stories.

4. What is your favourite dessert?

I love fruit tarts, especially lemon tarts.

5. What is your most favourite place in the world?

My favourite place is wherever I am with my boyfriend.

6. If you could only wear the same piece of clothing for a whole month, what would it be? I would love to see pictures!

I love wearing a dress or skirt. I think I could easily wear a dress for a whole month! I could even sleep in a dress. My favourite is this pink Nicole Miller pleated dress.

7. What is your biggest dream/something you would like to accomplish in your life?

These questions are always the hardest to answer. I just hope to live happily.

8. Name your feelgood song.

At the moment I love this song by Paolo

9. What is your favourite pastime in summer?

In the summer I love being under the sun the most. I think I could easily spend all three months on the beach, swimming in the sea and relaxing on a beach chair, but if I am being sensible then probably doing outdoor activities.

10. What is your favourite make-up brand?

From the high street I would go with Max Factor or L'Oréal and from high end I love Elizabeth Arden and Yves Saint Laurent.

11. Are you a shoe, bag or accessories person? Can you prove it?

Definitely a shoe-person. This is just a small part of my collection.

And now girls I am tagging for Liebster Award:

Susannah
Kristina
Lynsey

And here are my 11 questions for you!

2. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
3. Why did you start blogging?
4. What are your favourite blogs?
5. Where do you like to shop for clothes and shoes?
6. What is inside your makeup bag?
7. What are your favourite accessories?
8. Do you like bright or nude colours on nails?
9. What is your favourite food?
10. If you could live anywhere, where would you live?
11. What is your favourite song right now?

The Rules of the Game:
1. Thank the person who nominated you and post a link to their blog.
2. Display the award on your blog.
3. Answer 11 questions about yourself, which will be provided to you by the person who nominated you.
4. Nominate up to 11 blogs that you feel deserve the award, who are new bloggers and have less than 200 followers.
5. Create a new list of questions for the blogger to answer.
6. List these rules in your post. Once you have written and published it, you then have to:

Hope you all enjoy the tag and please don't forget to leave your link once you are done so I can read your posts!

Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide - Starting again

The last time I posted about my workout regime was in November last year when I started the Kayla Itsines BBG healthy eating plan and 12 week workout sessions. I think I got up to week 4 before I lost my motivation because of illness and Christmas. My friend Marianne and I started BBG again on the 5th of January with thousands of other girls and joined #thekaylamovement and #kaylasarmy to share our journey along this painful but exciting path.  You can read my first post about the BBG programme here as I am explaining a bit more on how I 'found' Kayla and how the training works.  I have done BBG for 5 weeks now (the first 2 weeks we did pre-training) and I'm feeling quite positive. I've not seen much progress myself - I still have my weak areas like tummy, bum and thighs. I do feel much stronger though! I'm doing all of the workouts properly, I have strength in my legs and arms - it is quite easy to do 10 push ups and continue with triceps and mountain clim...

The Body Shop Manchester Arndale Bloggers Event

I've been blogging for almost two years now but I'd still consider myself a newbie in the blogging world. On Thursday I had the chance to go to my first bloggers event at The Body Shop in Manchester to celebrate the release of an amazing new range on the 5th of May, including new bronzing items and a couple of vitamin C products! I was wearing my butterfly bow-tie brooch to the event and styled it with a white short sleeved shirt. It was a closed door event, so it was a good opportunity to browse all of the products and explore the new ones thoroughly! The event started at 8pm and I was one of the first ones to arrive. We were welcomed with milkshakes, fruit cocktails and lemonade. I went for water - shy and modest! There was also a white chocolate fountain and strawberries we had the chance to enjoy. The event was carried out by Fiona - she is a skin expert at the Manchester store. Everyone was able to get personal skin consult...

Lilla Rose Flexi Clips

Today I want to talk a bit about my hair and my recent purchase from a company called Lilla Rose . Lilla Rose is a unique hair and jewellery accessory company from the US. They have many different hair items but I was more interested in their beautiful and well-known Flexi Clip. I got myself two of these - Autumn's Delight in size small and Festive Leaf in extra small. Before ordering I made sure of which size would fit best for my flat and thin hair.       Both of my Flexi Clips look stunning. The beaded wire is quite bendable but strong, the sliding pin is adjustable and they feel high-quality. I chose mine in a copper/rust shade but there are also silver and gold shades and so many different styles and colours available. As I recently cut my long hair short, I don't have many options with styling. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail or a half ponytail. Autumn's Delight fits all my hair between the clip and Festive Leaf is perfect for a smal...
