It's been a while since I last opened my craft box. I got a bit of inspiration after I posted about my new Auren bracelet. So I thought I would show something I've just made and how easy it actually is!
Before I started, I was looking around the Internet for some tutorials and got some ideas about materials to use.
For this bracelet you need:
Place the ball chain on your leather cord and start wrapping red cord around it tightly.
Cut the ends with scissors and your wrap bracelet is ready!
My wrist is very tiny and I can wrap my bracelet around my wrist 4 times. My bracelet's length is about 60cm.
Before I started, I was looking around the Internet for some tutorials and got some ideas about materials to use.
For this bracelet you need:
- Brass ball chain - My silver chain is 60 cm long
- Leather cord - I am using 1mm, but it could even be 1.5 mm for a bit of a wider base
- Bead cord - C-Lon Tex 400 Bead Cord 0.9mm
- Wooden bead for fastening
Fold the leather cord in half and prepare a little loop. Make sure the fastener bead will go through the loop.
Start wrapping the bead cord around the leather cord. I did it about 5 times. I measured my loop because it is quite easy to pull the red bead cord up or down depending how big you want it.
Place the ball chain on your leather cord and start wrapping red cord around it tightly.
When you have reached the end of the ball chain, wrap the red cord around the leather cord 2-3 more times. Tie a knot with all three cords.
Put the wooden bead through the cords and tie a second knot.
