O&OJ // Mini Baby Blush

This cute set of 3 handmade headbands was a gift to Saskia from my friend whose sister owns a hair accessory shop called O&OJ. I have always been a bit sceptical about hair accessories; sometimes it looks painful when a baby is wearing a bow or hairband as it looks too tight. I didn't think I would have Saskia wear bows until she was a few years older but I found myself putting these on her anyway! I had not tried any other hair accessories on Saskia before, so I didn't have much to compare but these are beautiful on her. The quality is amazing and they feel very soft and gentle on the head.  This is their Baby Blush set which includes a grey felt bow, metallic pink faux leather bow and pale pink faux leather bow. Hair talk - Summer hair care products

I've changed my hair care regime completely over the past few years. I used to dye my hair a lot when I was younger - nothing extreme, just either blonde or dark. There were three products I would constantly buy: shampoo, conditioner and very strong hair spray. I washed my hair every day with shampoo which wasn't designed for daily washing; I used conditioner rarely, maybe once every two weeks and hair spray almost every day. My hair wasn't exactly in bad shape but it was far from amazing. My dark hair has now almost completely grown out and it feels so much lighter and healthier. The picture on the left was taken exactly 1 year ago - you can see how long it has taken for me to grow my natural colour back. My ends are still a bit darker but I am planning to have a haircut pretty soon! Now that my hair is so much healthier and I have more control over it, I thought I'd share my top 5 hair products for the summer that I've found useful.   Aussie Shampo...

Lilla Rose Flexi Clips

Today I want to talk a bit about my hair and my recent purchase from a company called Lilla Rose . Lilla Rose is a unique hair and jewellery accessory company from the US. They have many different hair items but I was more interested in their beautiful and well-known Flexi Clip. I got myself two of these - Autumn's Delight in size small and Festive Leaf in extra small. Before ordering I made sure of which size would fit best for my flat and thin hair.       Both of my Flexi Clips look stunning. The beaded wire is quite bendable but strong, the sliding pin is adjustable and they feel high-quality. I chose mine in a copper/rust shade but there are also silver and gold shades and so many different styles and colours available. As I recently cut my long hair short, I don't have many options with styling. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail or a half ponytail. Autumn's Delight fits all my hair between the clip and Festive Leaf is perfect for a smal...
