What's in my make up bag / Rome edition

Tristan, his two friends and I are leaving on our holiday to Rome in a few hours. I've never been to Italy, I am really excited as I have read that Rome is beautiful at this time of the year. It will be quite hot (about 30 degrees) and I am sure we'll be doing a lot of walking around the city. Heat and make up don't always work well on my oily skin but I just couldn't resist not taking any make up with me. I won't be wearing much make up during the day but we will still go out in the evenings, so it would be nice to give my eyes a bit of colour. I recently bought a Barry M Shadow & Glow Summer Love Palette for £7. It was such a bargain and the palette is made up of beautiful summer colours. I'll be using this once we reach Rome and will be reviewing it later.   My L'Oreal Nude Magique Anti-Redness CC Cream will be coming with me to give my face a bit of coverage when I need it. I've not used it very much so far, so I'm hoping it is useful. It...

What's in my holiday wash bag?

I like 'what's-in-my-bag' type of posts as I am always curious as to what other people carry with them. This post will be about the beauty products I brought with me on my 3 week holiday in Australia. I didn't need any of this on the plane, so all of this stuff was in my checked-in bag. At first I thought I'd buy new products when I landed in Australia but I eventually decided I would be better off using the many products I had already!   Philip Kingsley Elasticizer 40ml - I love hair treatments! This pre-shampoo conditioning treatment is good to use to boost up my hair. This treatment should be left in hair for at least 20 minutes or more, so it is best used when having an relaxing evening. Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray 200ml - I love this salt water! It gives just the right texture, which makes my hair look much thicker. It also doesn't make my hair too dry and stiff and gives the amazing feeling of beach wet hair! Eliz...

What's in my carry-on bag?

I love packing for my trips. I am a huge organiser so I start preparing my cabin bag a few days before the flight. I've never been on a flight longer than 3 hours before, the longest I usually travel is between England and Estonia when I visit my family. As you all know by now, I am going on holiday to Australia for 3 weeks. We are travelling Manchester-Dubai-Perth-Sydney so there's going to be a lot of time in the air. So here's all of the stuff I've decided I can't travel without. Neck Pillow - I want to be as comfy as possible and I will be extremely grumpy without a neck pillow. This baby blue memory foam pillow is from TKMaxx and it was actually a present for Tristan. We will be sharing!  Comfy socks/slippers - My feet always get cold when I am on the plane. I want to feel cosy and relaxed - my Primark socks help with that!    Glasses, contact lens case, eye drops - As I am wearing lenses and it is going to be a very long journey, ...
