For the 5 years I've been living in England, I've never been able to book a holiday in Estonia for my birthday. This year I finally did it! Tristan and I booked our holidays early to fall exactly on my birthday. We were also going to be there for my mums birthday, which wasn't too difficult to arrange - my birthday is on the 1st of September and my mums is on the 5th. We arrived on Saturday evening and spent the night in Tallinn before travelling to my hometown. Tristan had booked a room at the five star Savoy Boutique Hotel as an early birthday present. The Savoy Boutique is located in the old town, which is in the heart of Tallinn. After checking in, we found out that our room had been upgraded to a suite, which was a really nice surprise. As I mentioned a few of posts ago, Tristan and I took a weekend trip down south for his birthday in July. We stayed in a cute little countryside hotel called Fernhill in Lyme Regis. It gets really busy during the summer and because it is a small town, almost every single hotel/guest house/cottage was fully booked before I had even made our booking. Fernhill was the closest available hotel and was about 2 miles from Lyme Regis - there was only one double room left so I booked it immediately for two nights. We arrived on Friday evening and from the outside it didn't look like a hotel at all! When we stepped inside I felt such a positive atmosphere. Fernhill is such a lovely hotel which instantly makes you feel like you're at home - quiet and welcoming. Tristan and I took a trip to Estonia last year in December. Our plane arrived in the evening and as we wanted to see a bit more of Tallinn the next day, we decided to spend the night there in a hotel. We were looking for something quite central and close to the Old Town but also luxurious and romantic, so we picked a five star hotel called The Three Sisters.  We booked a Deluxe room through Expedia, as the reservation link on their own website didn't work. It did put me off for a minute, as I'd tried to book the room two days in a row and finally had to find an alternative way of making my reservation. Expedia was very easy to use though - we chose our dates, booked and pre-paid for the room. When we arrived at the hotel I was stunned; the building had a medieval feel to it (inside and outside), the staff were friendly as well as extremely helpful and our room was just amazing!
